Delaware Schools have the opportunity to work with the Delaware Reading and Writing Project through workshops, clusters, and partnerships. All costs are listed below.

Workshops are presented by DRWP Teacher Consultants.

Length of workshop can vary depending on the need of the school or district. Listed below are the options for the length of a workshops and the cost.

NOTE: Please contact our scheduling assistant via telephone (302-831-4030), e-mail, or the online registration form to schedule a workhop. All workshops must be scheduled at least one month prior to the desired presentation date. Due to the demanding schedules of our teacher consultants, we can not guarantee that your request will be met.

Cost: A cluster WITHOUT a partnership is $4,500.

For 2006-07 ONLY: Curriculum Alignment Partnership

A partnership will be available for schools that  seek assistance meeting the DOE/NCLB requirements to  work with teams of teachers to align  (or when necessary, develop) local curriculum to the Department of Education Recommended Curriculum and Grade Level Expectations. Similar to other partnership models, DRWP staff will be available to partner schools for 7 school days during the 2006-07 school year .

COST: There are 3 different options for partnerships.

Option 1: One typical partnership (7 coaching days)= $2500.

Option 2: One partnership with a cluster is called an extended partnerships (includes 10 coaching days, book club, and a cluster).
An extended partnership costs $6,500.

Option 3: A typical partnership (7 coaching days) with the addition of 4 workshop presentations given by our TCs focused around an area or areas of need as established through the School Improvement Plan. The workshops will serve as springboards for the coaching sessions. Topics will be extended and the coach will facilitate classroom implementation of the concepts/strategies that teachers learn in the four workshops. This option costs $3,500.
